Therly AI is designed as a privacy-conscious AI self-support service. 01Who we are
Therly AI provides AI-powered self-support tools for reflection, emotional organization, journaling-style conversations, tests, and voice features. We do not provide medical, clinical, emergency, or licensed therapy services.

02Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address, display name or nickname, authentication data, subscription status, and preferences.
- Conversation information, including messages you send to the AI assistant, AI-generated responses, session history, selected voice settings, and optional feedback.
- Payment and subscription information processed through payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, error logs, cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from technical data, and product interaction events.
- Support communications, including emails, requests, reports, and related metadata.
03Sensitive information and wellness content
Your conversations may include information about emotions, stress, relationships, sleep, anxiety, habits, or other personal experiences. Please do not share information you do not want processed by an AI service.
Therly AI is not intended for protected medical records, emergency communications, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use the service as a place to store official medical records or urgent crisis information.
04How we use information
- To provide and personalize the service, including generating AI responses, keeping conversation context, and maintaining account features.
- To process subscriptions, purchases, invoices, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and fraud prevention.
- To maintain safety, security, abuse prevention, debugging, service integrity, and platform reliability.
- To improve the product using analytics, aggregated statistics, de-identified information, and user feedback.
- To communicate with you about account, support, product, legal, security, and service updates.
- To comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and respond to lawful requests.
05Legal bases and privacy rights
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligations, and protection of rights and safety depending on the context.

Conversation history is generally retained while your account is active unless you delete it or request deletion. Backup deletion may take additional time for technical reasons.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and vendor security practices. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
11Children
Therly AI is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
