Last updated: May 5, 2026
By using Therly AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms are written for an international product structure and are not a substitute for legal advice.
01Service overview
Therly AI provides AI-powered self-support tools for reflection, emotional organization, journaling-style conversations, tests, and voice interactions.
The service is not medical care, psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support. No doctor-patient, therapist-client, or other clinical relationship is created by using Therly AI.
02Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Therly AI.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You may not transfer, sell, or share access to your account.
03Important wellness and crisis notice
Therly AI is not appropriate for emergencies, imminent harm, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, severe depression, medical crises, abuse emergencies, or situations requiring immediate professional intervention.
If you may harm yourself or others, or if you are in danger, contact emergency services or a local crisis hotline immediately. Do not wait for a response from Therly AI.
04AI limitations
- AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, inappropriate, or not suitable for your situation.
- Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.
- You are responsible for evaluating outputs and seeking qualified professional help when needed.
- The service may use automated systems to generate, rank, moderate, or personalize content.
05Acceptable use
- Use the service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or access controls.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, exploitative, or malicious content.
- Do not use the service to generate professional medical advice, clinical instructions, or crisis-management instructions for others.
- Do not misrepresent AI outputs as professional advice or as statements from a licensed human specialist.
06Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans and voice-minute purchases are billed through our payment provider, such as Stripe. Prices, billing cycles, included features, and renewal terms are shown at checkout or on the pricing page.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You authorize recurring charges for active subscriptions until cancellation.
You can cancel through available account tools or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges unless stated below or required by law.
07Refunds
Unless required by applicable law, purchases are generally final after access has been provided. We may offer refunds at our discretion, for example for duplicate charges, technical billing errors, or a first purchase refund request made within 48 hours of purchase.
To request a refund, contact business@therly.ai with your account email, purchase date, and reason for the request.
08User content and service content
You retain rights you have in content you submit to the service. You grant Therly AI the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, generate responses from, personalize, secure, and improve the service using that content.
Therly AI, its interface, design, software, brand, prompts, workflows, and related technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
09Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using the service, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
10Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, plans, pricing, or availability. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users, the service, or third parties.
11Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Therly AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal or emotional harm arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid to Therly AI for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Therly AI harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
14Governing structure and disputes
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at the business email above and try to resolve the issue informally. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
The governing law and forum may depend on your location, mandatory consumer-protection rules, and the entity operating the service. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
15Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
