UCLA Loneliness Scale
A UCLA-style self-assessment of perceived loneliness, isolation, and lack of close connection.
Instruction: Indicate how often each statement describes your experience.
Do you feel that you have no one to talk to?
Test basis
Format: UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3. The score is calculated from your answers using the scale shown in the test, so answer based on your recent real experience rather than trying to choose a "right" result.
Not a diagnosis
Loneliness is subjective. It can appear even when people are physically nearby. If you feel unsafe, at risk of harming yourself, experience violence, or are in severe distress, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified professional immediately.
