Perceived Social Support Test (MSPSS)
A 12-item MSPSS-style self-assessment of support from family, friends, and significant others.
Instruction: Rate how much you agree with each statement about support in your life.
There is a special person who is around when I need them
Test basis
Format: Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The score is calculated from your answers using the scale shown in the test, so answer based on your recent real experience rather than trying to choose a "right" result.
Not a diagnosis
Perceived social support is one important factor in psychological resilience. If you feel unsafe, at risk of harming yourself, experience violence, or are in severe distress, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified professional immediately.
