Panic Attack Test (PDSS-SR)
A PDSS-style self-assessment for panic attacks, anticipatory anxiety, avoidance, and impairment.
Instruction: Think about episodes of sudden intense fear or panic during the past week.
How many panic attacks did you have during the past week?
Test basis
Format: PDSS-SR. The score is calculated from your answers using the scale shown in the test, so answer based on your recent real experience rather than trying to choose a "right" result.
Not a diagnosis
Panic attacks are treatable, often with CBT-based approaches. This test is not a diagnosis. If you feel unsafe, at risk of harming yourself, experience violence, or are in severe distress, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified professional immediately.
