PTSD Checklist (PCL-5)
A PCL-5 based self-assessment for post-traumatic stress symptoms after difficult or frightening events.
Instruction: Keeping a difficult event in mind, how much have the following problems bothered you during the past month?
Repeated, disturbing, and unwanted memories of the event
Test basis
Format: PCL-5. The score is calculated from your answers using the scale shown in the test, so answer based on your recent real experience rather than trying to choose a "right" result.
Not a diagnosis
This is a screening tool. Only a qualified professional can diagnose PTSD. If you feel unsafe, at risk of harming yourself, experience violence, or are in severe distress, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified professional immediately.
